For my senior capstone project, I wrote and illustrated an interactive children’s book. This story follows a young girl named Marilie who remakes her favorite dessert from back home - Halo Halo! During my second semester, I completed four traditional spreads using hand-cut paper, pencils, and acrylic. Using bookbinding techniques, I incorporated the interactive elements by hand to make a fun book that kids will remember! See more of my process below!
