Hello! My name is Lauren Freitag and I am an Asian American artist, illustrator, and designer originally from Illinois, but based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. I attend the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design to further fuel my passion for creative expression!
As an illustrator, I strive to bring ideas and envisions to life in the most bright, colorful way possible. Experimenting with different mediums like paper cutouts, digital, and gouache paintings helps further push my process as a storyteller and artist. My past projects have focused heavily on exploring my culture by making illustrations and personal pieces about family get-togethers, a variety of Filipino foods, and experiences growing up with two different cultures and finding a place in between it all.
